Join locals in celebrating an array of community events throughout the year! Held annually on the third weekend of July, Port Hardy’s FiLoMi Days celebration is a three-day affair of fun & festivities. Residents, businesses, community organizations come together to commemorate the natural resource industries that founded the local economy of Port Hardy; fishing, logging, and mining. Although the town’s economy has since grown and diversified, these industries were influential to the establishment of Port Hardy along the beautiful coastal region of Vancouver Island. Participate in the FiLoMi days fishing derby, enjoy a parade, and take in local artwork, crafts, music, and great food, this family-friendly event is a great way to experience the local spirit of Port Hardy!

Port Hardy celebrates many other events throughout the year, check out the community calendar to learn more about what events are happening during your stay!
