The Walk along the Port Hardy Seawall is only a 10-15min walk  

Enjoy a leisurely walk along the seawall, from the waterfront park areas and out to the pier. Wildlife interpretive signage is posed along the seawall 

Visit the Book Nook/ Community Craft Shop (250)949-9808 

Just up the street a block and a half from the Visitor Centre on the same side you can grab a specialty latte (or regular coffee if you don’t like the fancy stuff). You can explore the book nook downstairs and the west coast community craft shop upstairs. Featuring writings of local authors and arts, crafts and makings of local artisans. Immerse yourself in a welcoming west coast atmosphere. 

Next Stop 2 blocks up from the Visitor Centre and on the right hand of the street is the  

Port Hardy Museum (250) 949-8143 

There you can explore the history of Port Hardy. In a town where the fishing, logging, and mining industries are incremental to the economy, exhibits and displays showcase artifacts about how Port Hardy began. The museum also features First Nations artifacts and artwork, testament to the cultures and traditions of the local First Nations communities. 

After the museum the next stop is Hardy Buoys Smoked Fish Inc. 1-877-949-8781 

Enjoy high quality delicious candied salmon. Smoked to perfection, try the legendary five flavors. Hardy Buoys where they put delish in fish, or grab some live crab and have a seafood feast.
