It is advised that ferry reservations be made well in advance prior to travel dates. Be sure to confirm departure dates and connecting ferry schedules if travelling to Klemtu, Bella Bella, Shearwater and Bella Coola. For assistance booking your BC Ferries travel, please contact the Port Hardy Visitor Information Centre.

Transportation servicing Port Hardy and the Bear Cove Ferry Terminal is available.

A shuttle bus connecting foot passengers to/from places of accommodation in downtown Port Hardy to the ferry terminal is available on departure and arrival days. Cost is $7.50 per person, cash only.   Phone (250)-949-6300.
